It's been a while

I haven't posted in an insanely long time and haven't uploaded new stuff. So, here's what's been going on:

1. The company I worked for went bankrupt, so I have to stay on to get the package and then find a new job. That took a while.

2. I have been giving away my first Mini-Comic. About 19 went to various people in Bloomington, IL. Most went to total strangers. About 10 went to co-workers.

3. I'm going to my first Cincinnati Creative Society meeting this Thursday. It'll be great to meet people who DO things rather than TALK about doing things. I'll see if I can bring copies of my Mini-Comic to give away.

4. I've only drawn a little. I've been stuck in a rut but I'm trying to dig myself out. I think Thursday's meeting will help.

5. I was planning on working with some people in Bloomington, IL on a Youtube dramody (a drama/comedy). They came up with the initial idea and I came up with the characters, the premise, and a few story ideas. I also came up with the overarching story that would cover maybe 5 seasons. They SEEMED really excited. Since then I've came up with more ideas and most of the overall plot ideas for the first season. No response to any of my emails. None. See: stuck in a rut.

6. There are other personal things which I won't go into which has been dragging me down.

So, where to from here? Well, as I mentioned I am meeting with the CCS. I'm hoping they motivate me and maybe I can get some traction here for the dramody as well. I'm also trying to do other meetups and most have not been very engaging. I feel like the guy that just so happened to crash a party and "I guess it's okay he showed up". I'm still trying to find people to hang out with every now and then. I figure getting out of the house by myself and hanging out with friendly and engaging people would be beneficial in a lot of ways.
